I have Thomas, when 16 years old became an apprentice seaman, signing a contract to that effect with Capt. Isaac Thompson of Roxbury, Mass on April 1, 1630 in Yarmouth England.
Their ship the Arabella "Landed in Boston,July 30, 1630" In Dec. of that year Capt. Thompson was taken ill and died. With his death Thomas Edgerly was released from his control."
Thomas returned to England and entered Oxford University coming back to America in 1650
