Probably my relations are not very close to the line related above, but I would be interested if they ring a bell with others or are related more distantly.
My grandfather was a Percy Vivian Elcock, born 1898 at Arley, I think, where his father had the blacksmiths shop. Greatgrandfather was Richard, born 1866, his father also a Richard, born 1829, and also blacksmith. His father and grandfather were both named Joseph, born 1791 and 1763 respectively. There were various brothers and sisters at various stages, including Georges and Thomases.
