Hello,
I just discovered this website. There was an Alan Elcock from Barbados who did go to Panama to help build the canal. He lost a leg in the building of the Panama canal and later returned to Barbados. He lived in Workman's Village, St George and died sometime in the 1970. He was in his 70's or 80's when he died. I am from that area.
How are you related to the Elcock's from Barbados?
