Ambrose Eldreth is buried with several other Eldreth family members in a small Eldreth Family cemetery near Lansing, approximately 1/2 mile from Long Branch Rd. The cemetery is on Ambrose Eldreth's old homeplace with access from Long Branch Road. We went there in the mid 1980's and took some photos and cleaned the entire site. No one to my knowledge takes care of it since the sale of the place after Ambrose's death. As I recall there was about ten family members buried there. When we locate the photos we will post any added info available. I don't know if there is an Ashe County number on this one but I will find out our next trip there.
