Hello Beth. David was my great great grandfather. There is some confusion regarding his mother, either Sarah Womac Cody, or Sarah McCormick. Most researchers, and there are many, favor Sarah Cody. David's father was Isaac Burson, nobody knows his middle name. Isaac was a very common name in Burson families back then. The previous generation was also an Isaac.
