Although I was living in Essex my family is from Durham where I was born. My father is Cliffod Elsdon (Lanchester, Co. Durham) and his father was Percy Elsdon (living in the same place, but not sure where he was born) I keep meaning to write it all down!
Other Elsdons in the South East won't be related to me UNLESS they stem back to Northumberland.
Interestingly I once met two Elsdon's at the same time (I think they were related!)working in one of the long stay car parks at Heathrow Airport.
