Researching the Esch families originating in Sandweiler, Luxembourg, Nicholas & Theodore immi to the US (NE) in the 1890s. Their father - Mathias Esch b 1839 Mensdorf, LUX, d 1897 Sandweiler, LUX
married Maria Geisler; Mathias parents - Johann Peter Esch & Suzanne Werner;
Maria’s parents - Johann Geisler & Maria Enhinger;
children of Mathias & Maria are:
1. Nicholas Esch b 1871 LUX, d 1926 Custer Co, NE
married Mary Ann Demuth 1900; Esch children William, Theodore, Leo and Marie (Cerveny)
2. Theodore Esch b 1875 LUX, d 1941 Custer Co, NE
married Rosella Amelia Vogt 1905, Esch children Anna (Olson) John, Pauline (McDermott), Rose (Pohlreich), Clara, Elizabeth (Smith), Lena (Amm), Mary (Pryce), Peter & Martha (Rosentreader) (many remain in Custer Co, NE area)
3. Madeleine Esch b 1879 LUX, d 1956 Sandweiler, LUX
married Nic Decker 1901; Decker children Elizabeth (Dresch), Michael & Rene (family remains in LUX)
4. Jacques Esch b abt 1880 LUX, d abt 1920 LUX
