looking for family!my grandfather,MANUEL FABELA,born in Los Pinos,Durango,Mexico july 8,1907.He was baptized
JOSE MANUEL SACRAMENTO FAVELA,son of Prisciliano Favela and Gorgonia Cervantes. He came to California in his early teens(around 1921)w/brothers Juan and Pablo by way of El Paso,TX.They spent some time in El Paso where another brother,stayed and lived.I think his name was Urbano but im not sure. Manuel,Juan and Pablo eventually made their way to Salinas,Ca. There are other siblings who didnt come to the U.S. and a sister that emmigrated to somewhere in South America. I dont know why the "V" got changed to"B", but the name is spelled FAVELA on his bapt.recs.Maternal grndprnts:Macedonio Cervantes and Amada Fragoso.Paternal grndprnts:Antonio Favela and Tecla Juarez.My father was Abraham Manuel Fabela b.1932.
