I'm expanding my research to include the Favela family of Santiago and Tepehuanes. My family tree contains over 50,000 people, including at least 12,000 people from Santiago and 7,000 people from Tepehuanes. The rest of my family tree is from Canelas and Topia, Dgo.
I'd be happy to work with those of you who are also researching the same families.
Incidentally, the first recorded Favela in our part of Durango was Juan Favela who married Juana Nevarez on 3 November 1689 in Santiago.
