Faber from Germany to UK 1850

My great great grandfather was Conrad Faber. He was born in Kurhessen in 1834. His father was Frederick Faber. He was a baker and emigrated to England. In 1859 he married Sarah Mitchener in Winchester Hampshire.

His sister Rebekka also emigrated to England and married Joseph Ax a shoemaker, also from Germany in 1860 in Whitechapel London. A R.Faber witnessed the marriage which indicates another brother or sister.

I have been trying for years to find out where in Germany they came from.

Anyone any ideas?
