Hello, i am also searching for Fauber/Fauver from Ohio area.

My ancestor is Elizabeth "Lizey" Fauver/Fauber born 1849 in Ohio. She married in 1867 in Stone Co. Ark to Basil Prater. I have a Bible record in her hand writing recording her marriage and her childrens births. She misspelled alot., so I was never sure of the spelling of her maiden name. It looks like "Fawver/Fauver. I did find the name FAUBER in the STone Co. Ark.taxlist of 1866, one year before her marriage, so I am hoping this is the correct spelling at that time.

My Aunt tells me she thinks her fathers name may have been Pete, but this is unproven. Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

Respectfully,
Sandie Prater
Oklahoma
