I just did a search on www.familysearch.org for Virginia's husband James Monroe Fugate, and discovered she IS listed there and the 1880 census indicates that she was indeed born in Virginia (in 1841 - it says). Both of her parents were born in Virginia as well. I hope this helps someone out there to identify her. Thank you!
