Hi- William Faber was my great-grandfather. His real (dutch) name was Wybren, and he and the rest of his family were from the village of Arum, in Friesland. This particular branch of the Faber I've only been able to trace back to ca. 1726, but there's still much research to be done. There is another branch off of the Fabers on which I've been able to get to 1685 or so.
