Yes, as I understand it, he was the motivating force in the building of St. Francis Hospital. He was well regarded in Wichita for his medical skills and his policy of not charging poor patients for his services. I'd like to hear the stories you mentioned. No, I'm not related to him but I am writing a book about the early days of Wichita -- 1870s -- and Dr. Fabrique was one of its pioneer citizens. Please let me know if you could share the stories with me. Thanks,
