Franklin F. Facemire was the son of James Henry Facemire, b. 17 Aug 1832 in Kanawha County, Virginia (now West Virginia) and Caroline D. Stonestreet, b. 25 Mar 1833 (birthplace unknown). There were several children in the family including Margaret Naoma A, Aaron, John M, Charles F, Mary Ellen, William B, Peggy F, Maggie, Omi, Lucy, and Eddie.
