Hi Helen,

Yes! Antonio Facenna was Carlo's grandfather!! I don't think that there's any doubt that we are talking about the same family.

I have virtually no information on the ancestors in between Antonio and Carlo but have done quite a bit of research on Carlo's generation - including censuses. I certainly knew of the Hill connection to the Facennas.

I will try and e-mail you direct later today with some info on where I fit into this jigsaw.
