I am seeking information regarding John FACEY, born 1829 in Combe Martin to John FACEY and unknown. John (Jr.) married Caroline Yeo ( born 1832, in Totnes, Devon, England - her parents were Isaac Yeo and Ann Harvey) on 20 Nov 1853 in Plymouth.
John and Caroline had a daughter, Elizabeth Ann FACEY (born 27 Aug 1856 at 19 Bath Street, Plymouth, Devon, England) who married Arthur John HARVEY (born 7 Oct 1855 in Tregonissey, St. Austell, Cornwall, England - his parents were Peter HARVEY and Ann TREGILGAS) on 22 Aug 1875 at Trinity Church, Holy Trinity Parish, Plymouth.
John and family are recorded in the 1861 Census as resident at 9 Railway Cottage, St Andrew Parish, Plymouth. His occupation is recorded as Blacksmith. The 1881 Census records John as a widower visiting the family, SCOBLE in Kea, Cornwall.
John's daughter, Elizabeth Ann, and her husband, Arthur John HARVEY, immigrated to Adelaide, South Australia, arriving on 7 October, 1876, by way of the ship, Robert Lees, from Plymouth. Their then only child, son Edwin, died on this journey at 6 months of age.
