Mark was my gradfather and perhaps that may not have been his first name. He was a bricklayer and emmigrated to Canada in the early 1900's. He had two sons by the name of Mark (Joe) and Lionel. Mark (son) was an equestrian instructor for the Junior Bengal Lancers in Halifax N.S. Canada. He had two sons. I don't know their names. Lionel married Kathleen Munroe of Toronto Ont. and had one son Brian. That's me.
I would be interested in knowing the origins of our family and for contacting any family members still in Tamworth (Tamwith) England. I don't know if my grandfather had any siblings but I would think that he did. My father Lionel and his brother Mark were born in Saskatoon Sask. Dad moved to Montreal during his younger years. Any information would be appreciated. Hopefully my cousins (Mark's sons) may see this and get in touch.
