Searching for info on my Grandfather Joseph Finn of New York City. Joseph married _____ McAdams also of New York. They married around 1919 or 1920 and had four girls, Gladys - birthdate approx 1920, Francis, Margaret and Joanne/Joan Marie - born in 1934. All four girls were placed in a New York City Catholic Orphanage when their mother passed away around approx 1938. Joseph Finn was known to be a chauffeur for a prominent Lawyer in New York City and re-married but the girls were never taken out of the orphanage. Anyone having any info on Joseph, his wife, his siblings, the orphanages name and address, where Joseph or my grandmother is buried is greatly appreciated.
Joseph may have had the middle name Leonard. It was said he went by Leonard sometimes. Not sure why or if Leonard was his first, middle or ???? Not positive for my mother Joan Marie Finn was only 4 years old when she was placed in orphanage and her Joseph her father never visited so she never knew him well.
Any help much appreciated!!!
