I am related to Johnn Henry Pfleuger (Fleiger) through his son Samuel. Is your John the one born about 1800 and married to Nancy Barnes? Did you ever find out anything more on John's parents? I have never been able to find out anything more than he died in Donegal, Westmoreland in 1825 and the names of his children.
