Well I hopeing you from David's 2nd wife Sarah Jordan who he married 1848.
I can not find his parents!
Did find, on LDS, a David Flood ( No P )
born 1804 Buxton, York, ME.with parents but I 99.99% sure this not our David P.
I did see 3 children with Catherine Knight but did not try to find descendants as they not Jordan descendants.
Did you do anything with his children with Sarah?
I have 2 sons with Sarah Jordan and have descendants down to 1900's with them.
I can send you this info and Sarah's ancestors back to 1500's if you want
That sea captain thing was interesting! I did not seem to see anything about this but I know those old boys would go to sea couple years and farm couple years.
