Well, I did some searching and found your Jacob in the 1870 census records. Some interesting things - he lists his father's birthplace as North Carolina and his mother's birthplace as Indiana. Both Elizabeth and William F(or T)are born in Illinois, while the other children are born in Indiana.

Jacob lists his birthplace as Ohio, which I find interesting. Many Quakers who disagreed with the issue of slavery left NC and SC and migrated to Ohio.
