I have an individual in my database called "Betsy Foulk" (That's how her name appears in family oral history collected from my mother, b. 1909). This Betsy Foulk's sister, Katy (or Katherine or Katrina), is my gggg-grandmother and was probably born about 1750-1760 (she bore children between 1782 and 1794). After her marriage, Katy lived in Virginia and SW Pennsylvania and later in Nebraska. I have no information on where she lived before that, but it may have been in the same area or points east from SW Pennsylvania. Katy and Betsy had a brother named Abe (I assume his name was Abraham) Foulk and at least one other sibling of unknown name. According to the same oral tradition, the mother of these children's maiden name was Katherine Gaar (or some other form of that surname).

I don't know whether your Betsy Foulk is this same individual, but by the year of her marriage, she could be. Do you have any information on where your Betsy Foulk lived or who her parents were?
