Hello, My name is Diane Thomas. I have just discovered this site on the internet and was very interested in your research. My greatx5 grandfather was John Foxworthy who married Agnes Hyne on the 24th July 1746 in Loddiswell, Devon, England. They had a daughter Agnes baptised in 1755 and also a granddaughter called Agnes born in 1790. My greatgrandfather was born in Blackawton, Devon, England in 1840 and travelled to South Wales,Wales, Great Britain where he settled and where my grandmother was born. I live in Swansea, South Wales. I hope to visit Blackawton soon and to see the house where my greatx4 grandfather lived and worked as a tailor in about 1785. You may be interested to know that there is a little place in Devon called Foxworthy and a small bridge called Foxworthy Bridge. I have records of Foxworthys going back to 1548. I would be happy to pass on any information that I have if anyone is interested and would be thrilled to receive similar information from you. Regards Diane.
