Ascarat is in the southwest of France.The best thing to do would be to ask for Jean-Baptiste Baratcart birth certificate .When you'll get it, you'll know his father and mother's name,date and place of birth.From there, you can get theirs and so on.
As he was born less than 100 years ago,Ascarat's cityhall should still have the birth records.
If you do not speak French, i can write them and ask them for you.Just let me know me if you need my help.
