Joseph French of Epping, NH executed a deed Aug. 18, 1779, selling his 50-acre property in Gilmanton, NH to John Elkins (also of Epping).
Am trying to find out which family Joseph came from and how he knew John Elkins. (John's wife was Hannah Bean and their sons all settled in Gilmanton.)
