Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Juanita:

The Funkhousers settled in what is now Shenandoah County in the 1730s, having arrived in Pennsylvania in the 1720s. The Funkhousers in the Valley are the descendants of Johannes and Jacob, who settled on Tumbling Run (Fishers Hill). A third, Christian moved on to SW Virginia.

Jonathan and Rebecca were second cousins, great-grandchildren of Jacob. Five of the children of Isaac Funkhouser married children of John and Mary (Funkhouser) Link.

I can send you information on the three generations from Jonathan to Jacob if you will accept Word attachments in an email.

My email is j.a.funkhouser(at)worldnet.att.net.

Frieda Wilson's email is fewilson(at)aol.com.
