I have located claims filed by my Tyre ancestors for losses in 1810 and 1812. The claims were filed in Camden Co., but other records indicate that my Tyre's had already moved into Tattnal, then Appling by then. Appling was made a county in 1814. I've not seen anything that indicates that Tattnal or Appling were ever a part of Camden Co. Does anyone know why the claims would be filed in Camden ? Thanks, Jim
