Teresa,
My grandmother was a Brooks from around Clarke County Ga. Her name was O'Dessa Brooks McClain, She had one sister that I know of named Hattie Brooks Alfred. Am also researching Brooks from Ga. Hope maybe we can help each other. Am going to go to Athens next week and go to Mars Hill Cementry in Oconne Co. where my grandmothers mother and father is buried and then will have their names as well.
