I am related to John Rutherford, born about 1795 and wife Sally Hunt born about 1805 both from NY originally, but were in the Michigan 1860 census of Almont, Lapeer Co. Michigan. Their children were Eliza, b 2/22/1826, Harry, 1832, Monroe,1841, William H., 1842, Lucinda, 1944, and John C. 1849. There may have been more. Lucinda Rutherfords daughter was Mrs. Virginia Jarvis Carroll, who was born in Almont, MI. Does anyone know of her or her living relatives that I may contact that ties back into Michigan where I live? This has been my "brick wall".
