Looking for info on any McLain, McClain, or any variation of the spelling. Some names as I have them from 1880 census of Oglethroupe Co. are T.J. age 34.maleM. age 10 male.
M.A. age 9 female, J.W. age 7 male. J.I. male 45. Sallie age 4, William age 10 and A.G. mother age 68. J.W. who was my ggrandfather died in 1941. on his obit was a John McLain, and an Addie Adderholt being invited to his funeral. Don't know if these were his cousin's or his brother and Sister. Any info would be high appricated. Because have a reached a brick wall. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Sherry McClain Hand
