In the 1900 census records for Banks County, there is a Simon P. Bennett born June 1872. He is living with his wife of four years, Ella B. Her birth is listed as December 1876. In the 1930 census both Simon and Ella are listed, along with a son, Frank G., age 20.
I would like to know if this Simon is the son of Charles and Dicy Bennett. The 1880 census for Banks County lists a nine year old boy named Simon. That is the only link I have. However, I have not been able to locate any other possible candidates for either Simon after 1880 or Simon P. before 1900.
I've searched the Georgia Death Index to see if I could find out when and where Simon Bennett died. I have been unable to find any entry for a man of that age with appropriate first name or initials. Otherwise, I would request a copy of his death certificate to see if it would answer my questions...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
