Since Nathaniel T. Maynard was the principal landowner in the area of the Old Bethabra Church (Maynard Family) Cemetery at the time of his death, I'm convinced that the three graves with the metal fence of that cemetery are those of Nathaniel T. and his two wives. The first grave within the fence is that of his first wife, Lucinda Hosch
Maynard, born 27 Oct 1823 and died 12 Mar 1849. The middle grave has positively been identified as that of N.T. Maynard, born 01 Jun 1820 and died 27 Feb 1873. It seems reasonable to assume(no proof however)that the third grave would be that of his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Smith Maynard, born abt 1833 and died abt 1878.
