In the book, EAST GEORGIA SETTLERS, I stated that Nathaniel T. Maynard was the nephew of both John and Nicholas Maynard. That statement is in error. There is no proof of this. I also stated in the book that Nathaniel T. was a possible son of Thomas Maynard. He could also be a possible child of either John or Nicholas. He definitely belongs in this family. Since he is buried in the Old Maynard Family Cemetery near Winder, GA where John and most of his family is buried, it's possible that he was a son of John.
