I have no ideas concerning the Old Everett Farm. In my personal records, my GG grandfather was Alfred Pinkney Everett,born Dec. 17, 1829 and died in the Civil War November 18,1862. His wife was Charlotte Colwell Hamilton. As far as I have known all my life, they were from Gwinnett County,Georgia. I have a copy of a letter he wrote to his wife while he was in the war. I have always been told his father was Sherrod Everett and his mother was Sarah ? .
After he died, Charlotte and her four little children came to Texas with her two brothers, Matthew and Archibald and they settled in Shelby County,Texas where they are buried.
I wish I could help you more. Perhaps this little bit of information might be of some help in tracing relatives.
