J.D. Hardin married Charlotte O'Shields in Bartow Co, Cassville, GA on Oct 07, 1857. (#E/120)
Charlotte O'Shields Hardin was the d/o John O'Sheals/O'Shields (b: 1803-1808 SC) & Charlotte Harrison b:1812 SC.
I would like to find more information on J.D. Hardin & Charlotte.
I have they had one daughter named Elizabeth Hardin b:1859, but surely they must have had more children ?
I found two more O'Shields marriages in Bartow Co, GA:
Date: Oct 22, 1876: Fannie O'Shields to James T. Hemphill (#G/107)
Date: Oct 15, 1884: Annie O'Shields to J.W. Bridges (# H/186)
(Anyone know who Fannie & Annie O'Shields parents were)?
There was a John A. O'Shields, age 21 -M-Tailor b:SC
on the 1850 Bartow Co, GA Census (Pg 175B)
He had a wife named Frances O. age 19 b:GA.
I found their Marriage:
May 06, 1850: John O'Shields to Frances O'Gaines- (#66).
I would like to find out more about John A. O'Shields & his family, also, to see if John A. was a brother to Charlotte O'Shields Hardin.
