The earliest deed book is Book C 1835-38. The early books are sketchy. They were saved by throwing them in a grave before Sherman arrived. I go to the courthouse fairly often if you have a specific need. The EVHS has the lottery books and will look up something for you if you call them.

The marriage records were all digitally copied and posted on the Ga Gen Web page for Barotw County. Look under the tab "records".
