Know we've talked in the past concerning CARROLLs.

My line: Jesse Carroll/Mary Rachel Gavin; their son John Carroll/1st wife, Elizabeth Hollingsworth; their dau, Margaret Carroll/William Lamb (as 2nd wife); their son, John Carroll Lamb, Maj. CSA, KIA in MISS.
Margaret (carroll) & William Lamb moved to Lowndes Co, GA -also w/her bro James Carroll/Elizabeth Carroll & others came w/the Lambs. My Lambs ended up living in Milltown, Berrien Co, GA, mar Howell - thus my maiden name.

All this give you some idea of who I am - I have several lines in Berrien Co, Clinch Co, etc - so wanted to ask if you've looked into Fla for your James K. Carroll & wife - believe it was the 1870 census you asked about...seems several of folks from this area ended up in Jefferson Co, Fla - so you might check there.
