My great, great grandfather Allen S. Elkins is shown as marrying Mariah Huckleby in Bibb in 1847. He next is shown as marrying Elizabeth Johnson in Bibb in 1852. Two of his children were born there. Andrew J. Elkins and David Elkins. He is shown also as having a Sarah Elkins probably his mother living with him at one time. He is originally from South Carolina. There is also a Everard Elkins also shown living there also from SC. There may be some relation between the two. We have very little information on this my grandmothers side of the family and would appreciate anyone who might have knowledge of this family sharing it with me. Many thanks
