I am looking for any info on Rufus Blalock, b. 1838 Bibb Cnty. d. 12-4-1905 in Confederate Soliders home in Atlanta. Son of unwed mother Mary Polly Blalock b. Nov 1818 Putnam,Georgia d. 1898 Spalding,Ga. His father is unknown. Mary's parents are Solomon and Catherine "Catey" King Blalock. Rufus is found in a few census's living with John & Catey Borders (she married him after Solomon died) an 1850 census and his obituary. Anyone who may have info or willing to help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.................Vickie
