I don't know if this will help you or not, you may have already found the info you are looking for.
The only Harris King I found in the 1880 census for Georgia was living with his mother and stepfather in Bryan County. He was 20 years old. Has a brother named Barrington who is 18 years old.
Stepfather: William Letford 40yrs. born in Alabama, parents born in England, occupation is manufacturer of Naval stores.
Mother: Sarah E. Letford 39 yrs. born in Missouri, father in Georgia, mother in South Carolina, keeps house.
Daughter: Sallie S. Letford 4 yrs. born in Georgia.
Stepson: Harris M. King 20yrs old and married, born in Georgia, at home.
Stepson: Barrington King 18yrs old and married, born in Georgia and works on a turpentine farm.
