William J. Winters(abt. 1830) and Saphronia Algiers (abt. 1833) were married in 1850 and lived in Georgia. Known children are William Oscar (born between 1860-1867), L. Ophelia (1864-1932) and possibly a Mary (abt. 1857).
I am looking for information about William J. Winters parents. I do know from a census record that William J. Winters' mother's name was Rhoda, born about 1810. William J. Winters' siblings in the 1850 census were David, abt. 1838, Leonard, abt 1840, Polly, abt 1831, Solomon, abt 1836, and Sunny, abt 1837. I am seeking a father's name and further back from both mother and father. I do know by 1860 they were living in Brooks county, but in 1850 they lived in Macon county.
