Looking for the Bryant Family in Brooks Co., GA

My grandfather is Joseph Bryant. His father's name was Grant Bryant. His mother's name was Georgia Slaughter. They are from Barwick, GA which is out side of Valdosta GA and Tallahassee FL. I think they could have been born during the 1870's-1880's. My great-great grandparents were slaves and my great grandparents were the first African American's out of slavery. If you have any information on the Bryant or Slaughter family please email me.
