Thomas Jones of Bulloch County inherited real estate from Adam Jones, his father, who died in Warren County in 1830. I have not been able to locate a record of this other than the following notation, source unknown:
"Elijah, Adam and Stephen Jones, exors. of the estate of Adam Jones, deeded to Thomas Jones of Bulloch County his share of the real estate of the said Adam Jones dec'd. August 3, 1831. Ref. Bryan County GA Office of Clerk."
I would like to know more about this transaction. Will someone with access to Bryan County land records for the early 1830s let me know the details of the deed?
