I am trying to find the parents of my ancestor, Celia Cannon Parker. She was born about 1811 in Georgia. She married James Parker in Houston County, Georgia. I found a Celia Cannon listed on the census of 1840 Houston county, Ga. This Celia is the right age, but my Celia is already married to James Parker by that time. My question is, who is the Celia Cannon that is listed on the census record in 1840? Is she my Celia Cannon Parker or is she related to my Celia? Could my Celia have married a Cannon first? Lots of questions and no answers! Help if you can. Thanks,
