Looking for information regarding the Barfield and Stephens lines through Eva Barfield Stephens and William J. Stephens in Burke County, GA (Waynesboro and Alexander, GA). Also my great great grandmother is E. Jane Stephens who is buried in the Bethel Church cemetary as well as Eva Stephens. I haven't been able to figure out the relationshipe between the two whether it be mother-in-law or aunt of Eva. I have Jane's death certificat which has a C. E. Stephens (Corbett (?) who is the son of Eva. Eva's mother was Mrs. J. W. Barfield.
