My uncle and I have been trying to find out more information about Patrick Thomas Brown 1853-1904 (listed as P.T. Brown on the Census) and Mary Jane Chance 1861-1946 of Midville, Emanuel County, Ga. They were married about 1877 in Jefferson County, SC.
Patrick Thomas Brown was the father of my great-grandfather Jessie Milton Brown 1889-1913, who married Hilda Elizabeth Page 1885-1927. Mary Jane Chance was the daughter of John T. Chance; after Patrick Thomas Brown died, Mary Jane remarried Charles Vincent Lemon.
I believe Mary Jane Chance's father John T. Chance to be the same John T. Chance whom served in the 66th GA Inf. Co. B but need more info to prove it with certainty.
We have no information on the father of Patrick Thomas Brown, other than it was said in our family that he left -- perhaps for the War -- and never came back.
Mary Jane and Patrick Thomas Brown also had the following children:

John Brown 1880-?
Gertrude Brown 1882-1904, married William Westley Coleman
Thomas George Brown 1885-1912, married Lena Bea
Emmit T. Brown 1888-1957
Eddie Rabon Brown 1890-1975, married Mary Mollie Palmer
Bessie Brown 1892-1950, married William Robert Shedd & <unknown> Hucks
Susie Ethel Brown 1897-1989, married William Rutherford Willis
Estella Mae Brown 1899-1960, married William C. Hamilton & Willis Lofton Eubanks
We are looking any and all leads to information about these people and/or any living descendants that can tell us more about them.
