I am reasearching WILLIAM A. TIPTON, b. 1839, in VA. He married Nancy Jane (Puss) Hoard in 1859 in Talladega Co., AL. They are listed in the 1870 Census in Butts Co., GA., With children Louisa, William, James, & Charles TIPTON.

Nancy b. 1841, was the daughter of Thomas J. HOARD and Eliza Beth Brewer (HOARD) from Butts Co., GA.

Anything on these two families will greatly be appreciated
