In 1883, Key's Metodist Curch and Pleasant Grove Methodist Church consolidated to form Weathers Chapel which later became the Stark Methodist Church on Hall's Bridge Road, Stark, GA. The Congregationalists and Episcopal Methodists had jointly used the building at Pleasant Grove, but the Episcopal Methodists sold their interest to the Congregationalists when moving to Stark.
