I am looking for information on Allen Roberson of Historic Wayne Co GA. He was my Grt Grt Grandfather. I know that he was born in 1828 and he married Elizabeth Kelly in 1850. Elizabeth Kelly's father was John Kelly. I am not sure who Allens Parents were, but I beleive that his father was Allen Roberson/Robinson/Robson from Pitt Co N.C. He was James Robinson/Robson's son from Pitt Co N.C. Allen Jr. and Elizabeth had two sons that I know of, James b.1852 and Sherrod b. 1858. Allen seems to disappear around 1858-1860. In the 1860 Wayne County, GA census, Allen is not listed but his wife Elizabeth and his two sons, James and Sherrod are listed in Elizabeth's parents home, John and Nancy Kelly. What I am searching for is, What happened to Allen Roberson? Where is he in 1860? Who are his parents for sure? I would be very grateful, If anyone has any information to help me answer these questions. Thank You
